Customer Evaluations
I have a Q 120 with the fold out side tables. I cook for a men's Bocce Ball league and the Weber has been a wonderful way to serve fresh cooked sausage, chicken and beef. Trouble was, it was about a 250 yard hump every single way carrying the Q outstretched in front me to the Bocce Ball courts and back to the parking lot. Soon after awkwardly carrying the Q back and forth a few instances and making further trips for the food- obtaining the scrawny looking cart seemed to make sense. The travel distance possible for my Q is only limited by my capacity to walk (or climb). It does what it was developed to do and a small extra when stacked with ice chests and dry goods. When not utilized as a dolly it just converts to a patio grill table for dwelling use. When not in use it folds flat for uncomplicated storage. All in all income well spent. In addition, the price from Amazon was ten bucks less expensive than my nearby retailer. With super saver shipping in three days I wondered why I waited so long to acquire. I received this as a Christmas gift four years ago with my Q220 grill.
I use it as my grilling stand on the back deck.
It is not as sturdy as I'd like as the grill moves a little when brushing the grilling surface with a brush.
The grill is "attached" to the stand with some "hooks" that catch the rear legs of the grill. Then the front legs set into some "pockets" on the top of the stand.
If you need to have to move the grill, be positive to grab the stand and not one of the grill handles as you may possibly lift the grill out of the pockets and it may slip out of the hooks and fall off the stand.
The hooks and little tool storage location are great and handy. I have a grill brush that hangs from one of the hooks all the time.
I've utilized the stand although camping and it functions properly as long as you have level ground. Uneven or bumpy ground is tough to use with this stand. It is pretty portable having said that, and the grill can be placed on the best in the folded position to use the stand as a two-wheeled dolly to transport the grill when tailgating.
If I had my alternative, I'd have selected the much more permanent model grill stand for my Q220 as most of my grilling takes spot on the back deck. If I were making use of it camping or tailgating, this is the fantastic companion to the Q grill.
