I'm glad I ordered two of these for my Charbroil gas grill. The cast iron smoker box is measured 8"x5x1" -- created in China of course. It works ! What I did I soaked wood chips, place them in the box and placed under the grilling rack -- ideal ontop of the gas burners. The resulted smoked favored chicken tastes unbelivable! Cannot wait to attempt with ribs and beef. Like I said the box is cast iron. Exceptionally solid so I'm expected to last longer than my grill, if not forever.

The most effective kind of smoker box is cast iron for the reason that it really is definitely good at taking the heat, smoke, and dirt. This is a prime example. I wish it was deeper to fit much more wood chips, but hey, it is alright with me.
