My wife purchased this to go along with the BGE she gave me for father's day. I personally did not believe it was going to be worth trying. Boy, was I wrong. This is an absolute necessity for choosing up the grill plate. It is a incredibly heavy grill produced of cast iron and the rungs are close together, making it even a lot more troublesome to pick up. I do not believe pliers would work and fingers alone are impossible (even when it is cold). This grill gripper works outstanding and you will By no means regret receiving it.
